Here is a series of photos that I made 37 years ago of the old Jordan River Powerhouse abandoned in 1971. I was with other family members at the time that I made the photos. The old powerhouse was part of the smaller Bear Creek Dam and the main Jordan River Diversion Dam which was completed in 1911 and provided electricity to the City of Victoria. The power output was 26 megawatts until it was replaced by a newer powerhouse producing 175 megawatts.
